Cats in your area need your help!!!
Please do not contact NY Feral Cats to take cats and kittens. We do not run a shelter and our space in foster homes is over full. That is why we do what we do. The more cats we are able to get sterilized, the fewer unwanted kittens there will be. Without help, NY Feral Cats will not be able to continue doing this. Please stop by our Donations or Shop page to help out.
NY Feral Cats is dedicated to the sterilization of feral cat colonies in New York State using a method called Trap-Neuter-Return otherwise known as TNR.
TNR is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors are humanely trapped, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and cats that are able to be socialized are adopted into good homes. others are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers, unless we are able to find accceptable placements for them.
TNR is the most effective means of stabilizing population, controlling rabies, and protecting human health. TNR is also the most cost effective. Having the cats euthanized requires taxpayer dollars to pay for intake, housing, handling, feeding, killing and disposal.

Donations will be used to pay the cost of vet bills. Without you this can't be done. Some of our kittens are being fostered and becoming social enough to be adopted! If you are interested in adopting a kitten the cost is $15. The kitten will have already been fixed, had it's first round of shots, been treated for fleas and in some cases more. Check out the Adopt Me page to see who is currently looking for a home.
